We are a small startup in the growing Telemedicine industry with our HQ located in San Francisco.
The ideal candidate will be a people-person with a positive attitude and an adaptable personality. The Associate will work remotely with scheduled days in-office. They must be tech-savvy with the ability to adapt into a fast-paced, multi-hat-wearing, startup environment. We are looking for a person with friendly and professional mannerisms for the role of being the liaison between doctors, patients, and across the operations team. This job requires reliability and the ability to work independently. There will be in-depth training sessions held in the first two weeks.
Hours and days:
We are hiring for multiple positions, some full-time and some part-time.
- Monday-Friday 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM EST
- Occasional Saturday & Sunday 4-hour shifts
- Thursday & Friday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Your Responsibilities:
Customer service:
- Interact with and answer questions from our patients via phone and email.
- Book appointments for patients on the PlushCare online scheduling database.
- Make processes and procedures more fluid.
- Be extremely organized and able to pick-up quickly on names of medications, and uses of PlushCare databases.
- Communicate openly with the Operations Team.
- Reports to manager in San Francisco.
Must Haves:
+ A passion to provide every American with more convenient and more affordable access to healthcare.
+ Strong interpersonal skills: You are able to communicate clearly and respond effectively via phone, email and face-to-face.
+ Must be able to provide a consistent schedule.
+ 1-2 years of previous internships or work in the healthcare field.
+ Bachelor's degree from accredited college, or in pursuance of a Bachelor's degree in any field of health, health economics, or communications.
Preferred Skills:
+ Familiarity working with electronic health record systems.
+ Experience in a clinical setting, with acquired clinical terminology and practice talking to/working with doctors and patients.
+ Reasonable understanding of apps and how to navigate the Android and iPhone systems.
+ CRM experience.
